2024 Gaming Review

I guess because of all the shit I was going through at the end of 2023 I didn’t write one of these last year, but this year I didn’t forget. So first up, here’s Nintendo:

As is usually the case, unfortunately, I didn’t really play my Switch that much this year. I always think that I’ll take it to work and play it some there, but when my break time comes around I just want to sit and do nothing.

Only 8 games played on it is pretty abysmal considering how many I own for the platform. This revelation makes me want to re-evaluate my relationship with the platform.

This game was mostly great but that final fight was pretty disappointing.

It’s too bad that I only played 11 hours of this and bounced off of it, I really enjoyed what I played but the backtracking gets really tedious after a while.

Must have been feeling some nostalgia that day…?

I can tell I more or less have the platform for the exclusives, can’t you? Seeing Asdivine Hearts in that lineup reminded me that the Switch was the only thing I could play after the power grid was damaged by Hurricane Helene. Not a happy memory. Next up, Xbox:

Yeahhhh…didn’t really do much on Xbox this year except play a little Risk of Rain for two or three days, and that was a week ago. Also been re-evaluating my relationship with this platform too. Finally, PlayStation:

Minecraft is on here twice because of the PS4 and PS5 versions, respectively.
